Urea is produced by the reaction of ammonia with CO2 in a melting process. This "melt" is the starting material for the production of urea prills or granules, when mixed with water, becomes an aqueous urea solution.
Urea prills are small round "balls" that are used as technical urea in many industrial applications. Belenos supplies urea prills with or without release agents for the pharmaceutical, paint, adhesives and automotive industries.
